Electric Nebula – Original Space Art hand-painted by Mirror Artist Phillip Orr

Phillip has created this beautiful piece of art has has been created using the Verre Eglomise technique, otherwise known as Reverse Glass Painting. Reverse painting on glass is an art form consisting of applying paint to a piece of glass and then viewing the image by turning the glass over and looking through the glass at the image. The effects of this are stunning and gives the art piece a depth of colour that cannot be achieved by traditional painting methods. The glass art piece is 80cm high and 120cm wide and has been bordered by clear mirror and finished with an ebony trim and has been mounted on a timber backing board and has fixings attached ready to hang.
