Beyond Mars – Original Hand-painted Space Art from British Artist Phillip Orr

Phillip has created this beautiful piece of art has has been created using the Verre Eglomise technique, otherwise known as Reverse Glass Painting. Reverse painting on glass is an art form consisting of applying paint to a piece of glass and then viewing the image by turning the glass over and looking through the glass at the image. The effects of this are stunning and gives the art piece a depth of colour that cannot be achieved by traditional painting methods. The glass art piece is 80cm high and 110cm wide has been bordered by clear mirror and finished with a thin silver trim and has been mounted on a timber backing board and has fixings attached ready to hang.
