Rectangular wooden framed mirror with gilt on gesso roped trim. The top has a gilt on gesso neoclassical motif of griffins flanking a decorated flaming urn. This piece was reclaimed from a private residence with a London style pub and is an homage to Fuller’s Griffin Brewery, a mainstay of London ale breweries since the mid 1800’s. This mirror beautifully combines functionality with a nod to British brewing history, making it a perfect piece for sophisticated or eclectic spaces. 23″w x 41″h x 1″d. Good condition. Some cracking in gilt and one chip on frame.
